For most activities you'll need a Companion creature to accompany you. To choose a companion, click your menagerie, then click the heart under your creature to make it your companion. Companions may be changed out as often as you want with no cool-down periods.
You companion creature will be the beneficiary of any special things you stumble upon in your adventures, and also will be the target of any NPC's benefits (or hostile actions).
Currently companion creatures are affected by Training and Quests. At the moment Random Events don't do anything to them.
- Your companion gains extra XP and stats when trained!
- Any stats gained via quests go to your companion
- Your companion creature will get hungry faster while in your care.
