Training your creatures is pretty straightforward- simply decide what exercises you want them to do and set them to do it! It will award you XP and your pet will gain some stats for it.
You can raise your creature's ultimate stat potential by leveling them up. Creatures gain 5.5 additional points each time they level. Having a creature be your Companion Creature when you train them will increase the stat points and XP earned by that creature by a little bit as well.
To train a creature, click them in your menagerie. Then click the ribbon icon. Scroll down to see training options. You can also open training in a new window if you hate scrolling.
What Trains What[]
These train larger chunks of a single attribute.
- Strength = Strength
- Cunning = Cunning
- Stamina = Stamina
- Intelligence = Intelligence
- Agility = Agility
- Speed = Speed
These train smaller chunks of several attributes at random. Sometimes you will get a bunch of one and not much of the rest, and others all will show up evenly. It's 100% random as to how much of each stat you'll get, but the average is higher than training stats individually. If one or more stats are 100% full it blanks out things that would train that stat. Level up or train individual stats instead.
- Obstacle Course = Cunning, Agility, Speed (uncommon), Intelligence (rare)
- Swimming = Strength, Stamina, Agility, cunning (rare?), Intelligence (rare)
- Treadmill = Speed, Strength, Stamina
- Agility Course = Agility, Cunning, Speed (uncommon), Intelligence (rare)
- Fetch = All five stats, very small gains however!
